Cyber Insurance
New Cyber Insurance requirements for multi-factor authentication
In order to maintain coverage and premiums, cybersecurity insurance providers are now requiring their customers to implement multi-factor authentication (MFA). Additionally, they have significantly broadened the scope of what needs to be covered by MFA, including:
- Admin access to network equipment
- Admin access to workstations
- Admin access to physical and virtual servers
In order to satisfy these requirements and maintain coverage, a third-party MFA solution is now required. These solutions provide advanced MFA features, such as RADIUS, LDAP proxy, Windows Server agents, etc. The native MFA features built into solutions such as Google and Office 365 will not satisfy these requirements.
Promenet’s advanced cybersecurity team consists of certified solution providers for Cisco Duo and Okta, and can custom-tailor an MFA solution to meet your organization’s specific needs.
